It’s a pleasure to welcome you to my corner.
Hello, I’m Makgoadi Ngoasheng; blogger and host of Wining And Dining With Strangers.

Wining And Dining With Strangers began simply because I enjoy good food, exquisite wine, and I find joy in bringing people together. Steak? yes. Pasta, of course! Of course, if its delicious I’ll eat it. But I believe that food and wine are more than just indulgent pleasures; they can also serve as a basis and a medium for building meaningful connections.
Wining And Dining With Strangers was born out of a desire to create a community where enthusiasts and novices could unite in their appreciation for wine, culinary artistry and art. I’m of the view that the simple pleasure of sharing a meal or a glass of wine (between strangers) is a universal “language” capable of building bridges between individuals who might never have met otherwise.

The world has become extremely fast-paced and lonely, and there’s definitely a need to slow down and connect; one traditional means is through the breaking of bread and clinking of glasses. And that is where you’ll find us; sparking conversations, fostering relationships, creating lasting memories…
I’d like to invite you to join us on this delectable journey, where every sip and every bite is an opportunity to connect, and to savour the beauty of shared moments. See you soon?
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
